Darius is one of the most creative minds I know. His fascinating way of seeing and holding the world tempts me — and most people who meet him — back into a land of dreams. Where things lose their perspective, where the cycle of nature becomes tangible, and where you simply want to catch your breath and stay a while.

He often raises conflicts in his pictures that make his inner world legible. He uses illustration as communication, painting as an expression of his love for nature, and his countless sketches reveal his talent. The pencil is the arm of his mind.

Raised in a family of artists, he learned the pencil early. A degree in Illustration at the University of Liverpool, a course in Fine Art in Surrey, and finally his BA as Designer Maker at the University of Plymouth rounded out his profile as an artist.
